Brennan is a graduate student in the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.  He is studying Broadcast/Digital Journalism and will graduate in Summer 2012.  After graduation, Brennan will pursue his goal of becoming a multimedia journalist.

While in Syracuse he served as both a producing and reporting intern at CNY Central, helping produce the Thursday afternoon and evening newscasts and working the night-side shift as a reporter on Fridays.

Prior to Syracuse, Brennan graduated from the University of Memphis with a B.A. in Journalism with a Minor in French.

He began working as a journalist at 91.7fm WUMR The Jazz Lover.  During his time at the station he worked as a member of the U92 Sports Team as a commentator and studio host for a weekday morning sports show.  While working for WUMR, Brennan was a play-by-play commentator for the University of Memphis football and basketball teams.

In his final semester at Memphis, Brennan interned for WBBJ ABC-7 in Jackson, TN.  He served as a photographer, writer, and worked in production of the daily newscasts.

Before graduating from Memphis, Brennan also served as a multimedia reporter for MicroMemphis, a hyper-local news site for the Cooper-Young neighborhood of Memphis.  While reporting for MicroMemphis, Brennan created polls, nat-sound stories, web articles, photo galleries, and a stand-up package
.

Brennan worked in the print side of journalism as a contributing writer on campus for the University of Memphis Magazine, The Daily Helmsman, and MemphiSport.
