Brennan is a graduate of the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. He received his Master's Degree in Broadcast/Digital Journalism after spending time reporting for WAMU Radio in Washington, DC.
While in Syracuse he served as both a producing and reporting intern at CNY Central, helping produce the Thursday afternoon and evening newscasts and working the night-side shift as a reporter on Fridays.
Prior to Syracuse, Brennan graduated from the University of Memphis with a B.A. in Journalism with a Minor in French.
Before graduating from Memphis, Brennan served as a multimedia reporter for MicroMemphis, a hyper-local news site for the Cooper-Young neighborhood of Memphis. While reporting for MicroMemphis, Brennan created polls, nat-sound stories, web articles, photo galleries, and video reports.
Brennan worked in the print side of journalism as a contributing writer on campus for the University of Memphis Magazine, The Daily Helmsman, while covering the Memphis Grizzlies and Memphis Redbirds for MemphiSport.
